I have been a Spartacus fan from day one. I wasn't sure how they would introduce this prequel and if it could live up to the original series, but I was pleasently surprised.

Wow, what a great show! It blends everything you want in a series: action, good acting, great visuals, drama, romance, violence. It is almost a hybrid of Rome, 300, Gladiator and Braveheart. If you liked Rome, Gladiator, 300 and anything like that, then you will love this show.
