| Season 3, in the traditional six-month later opening, shows Patty driving in the streets of New York, listening to a radio talk show discussing her courage to take on the corporate world when suddenly she is hit by another car, possibly on purpose. We learn that the car is licensed to her partner, Tom Shayes although oddly the car is empty and Tom is found dead in a dumpster during the investigation of the crash. We also learn that Ellen is involved somehow in Tom's imminent death, as her bag, stained with blood, is found among a homeless man's belongings... |
