I got the closer as a present for my wife because she has been a fan but I didn't watch it on TV. As it tuned out the DVD is much more enjoyable than the show on TV because the video and sound are much better than we can get thru our local cable provider. I became a fan and recommend it to anyone that may have been on the edge.

I started watching The Closer during the fourth season and was hooked and had to get all the seasons. It's such a good series with drama and humor. If you love a good drama series you'll want to watch.

We really enjoyed seeing this show on TV, so decided to watch the whole series from beginning to end. The writing is terrific, the acting is excellent, and the situations drawn with enough shades of moral ambiguity that it's always compelling.
