I loved Mad Men on TV and wanted to see it in more detail so I purchased it. I would give it 5 stars as being one of the most realistic and captivating series I have seen in years. It is an interesting portrayal of the life and career of 1960's advertising men and their families in New York. The main character is suave, debonair, ladies man, Dan Draper, a veteran of WWII, decorated with the Purple Heart. Dan is smart, funny and has everything going for him, a great job, beautiful wife and children. Dan commutes by train to NYC every day to his job on Madison Ave., called in the trade as a Mad Men. Dan's life and past are full of secrets which are slowly divulged throughout the episodes. Dan is living a life of quiet frustration.

Mad Men is a highly stylized look at a Madison Avenue advertising agency and the people who work there and has been extremely enjoyable.

This is one of the best series ever to air on television. It's hands-down the best TV has to offer today. "Mad Men" has it all - beginning with a well-crafted storyline and including its big-budget-film level production values, the incredible writing, impeccably wrought characters portrayed by perfectly cast actors and actresses...and the music, particularly the songs selected to play out at the end of each episode...
