I'm a huge fan of medical dramas and originally I really didn't see how this show could differ itself from any other average medical show. I got hooked in the first five minutes and I've been watching ever since. Now that ER is sort of past its prime Grey's Anatomy can easy claim the title as the best medical drama on television. What really differs the show from any other medical show I've seen is the character development. The character development helped keep me interested and I felt I got to know Meredith and the other interns. I also got a feel for the hardships being an intern is and how much work goes into becoming a doctor. You also get a feeling of connection with the interns because of how much we find out about them. Dr. Shepherd, Dr. Bailey, and Dr. Burke help them along the way and offer some good advice. It's very informative and I've learned a few things watching it.Overall I think Grey's Anatomy is one of the best and most addictive shows on TV right now. This DVD is

Love the show and now I can watch it whenever I want.Don't let the scrubs and paddles fool you. Grey's Anatomy, which scored the second-biggest drama series premiere audience of the season in its 27 March debut, is a soap, not a hospital procedural. Creator Shonda Rhimes (who penned Britney Spears' Crossroads) makes this clear from the start, as the pilot opens with Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) waking naked but not alone on the den floor of her mother's vacant home. She's late for her first day of work, and she can't remember the name of the man (Patrick Dempsey) who just woke bare-ass-up beside her. "Derek," he says, proffering a handshake and a smile that says he's ready for another go. "Goodbye, Derek," she grins, rushing off to the shower.

I love watching the series of Grey's Anatomy, and the reason I purchased these dvd's is because the local tv stations do not show them anymore here in Cyprus

This show has had my attention since the very beginning and each episode gets better and better. I have seasons 1 & 2 and wanted to expand my collection so that on rainy days I can just sit and watch them again without being bored :) There is never a dull moment at Seattle Grace Hospital on the show :)
