Madam Secretary Seasons 4 DVD Box Set :The show essentially justifies water-boarding, which I find offensive. Perhaps this an effort by the show to establish street cred with Serious People, but it just goes to show that even hindsight doesn't afford some people twenty-twenty vision. Especially since they have to resort to the mythic "ticking time-bomb" scenario in order to fabricate a leg for the justification to stand on. There were one or two other points where I felt bad behavior was being white-washed to address some nebulous, unexplained "big picture" in which such things ostensibly not only make sense but are ethically justifiable and entirely necessary.Tea is perfect for Elizabeth McCord. Tim Daly as Henry McCord is OK (more as Georgetown biblical scholar than as NSA asset or War College professor) but I keep thinking a more credible choice could have been made, just perhaps not within budget? Josh Duhamel? Leoni and Daly do have chemistry, however.
